Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript And XML) is a valuable tool becoming more and more popular within web design. Its effective, exciting for users, and works well with responsive designs. The purpose of Ajax is to allow a web page to update without having to reload the page which speeds up your website and the browsing process for your visitors. This means visitors can easily transition between gallery images, view similar product posts on a single page, submit a request through your contact page and receive a confirmation, or scroll though a map via a smooth Ajax transition.

Yes, we know Soliloquy is not a theme. However, it is a super awesome plugin for WordPress and they recently added AJAX loading for the slides! This means you can now have super fast sliders on your site no matter how many slides you have. We just wanted to throw this plugin into the mix because it’s the best slider plugin for WordPress.
