I think it may be worth including FactWP on this list, the Google maps addon is pretty powerful and would be simple enough to make a store location feature.

    Hello,

I am struggling to find a way to add “choose store location” search field on my Woocommerce Multisite. I would like something like this:

Except the search heading would be “Which city are you in?” and then the dropdowns would show States and then Cities. Since we have only one of our stores in any particular city, I would like the search to then direct the visitor to the appropriate mini-site for that city. Does that make sense?

I ‘ve looked at various location plugins but most are designed to show all the stores in a particular area, then the visitor can click on the one they want, then click on the website link in the store description. I want to remove a step and have the store site be linked directly from the “City” search.

So if a visitor clicked on the “State” as Washington, then the “City” of Seattle, then the link would take them right to our Seattle store site.

Any idea how I could accomplish this?

Hmmm, sounds like you need a directory plugin instead of a store locator (which is more of a map). GeoDirectory might be a good option, but I’m not sure if you can redirect users to a sub-site based on the city/state they choose. I would suggest reaching out to the plugin developer to see if this is something you could customize the plugin to do. Best of luck!

Hi, I would suggest adding Mappress and Mappress Pro to this list.
Chris Richardson, the programmer does a great job and his support is awesome.
The best thing for me is, that I don’t have to use Google Maps anymore because his plugin supports also Leaflet maps.
    Kind regards,
    Ralf

Thanks for the list Priya, found some useful plugins from here just what I was after.

    Cheers

Hey guys, I’ve used IWD Agency store locator and it rocks, it fits almost all website platforms for free, take a look to it, it’s worth a look

Can these be configured to reflect “areas served” for example my client is a private security firm with clients around cali and starting to be other states. We do not want the clients addresses, just pins in the cities thet we have clients in. Or is this another type of plugin I should be searching for?

    • Kyla

I would think any mapping plugin should do the job since you just want to add pins to specific cities. Checkout our list of best mapping plugins – there’s a good variety with a more of a focus on the map styling options (as opposed to many of the store locators that use geolocation which it sound like you don’t need).

Informative post. But how to show woocomerce products according to user geolocation in wordpress for free?
    Please answer.

    • Kyla

WooCommerce has built-in functionality for geolocation based shipping and tax rates via MaxMind, but showing products according location is a bit different. There is a free plugin on WordPress.org called “WooCommerce Geolocation Based Products” but it appears to have been abandoned so I’m hesitant to recommend it. Other than that all solutions I found in a quick Google search are premium. But if you can spare a few bucks I would recommend Barn2 WooCommerce Product Table which is compatible with Geotargeting lite – Barn2 is a great, reliable developer and in this article they show how you can create location based product tables. Could be a good solution!

hey i was plaining to build a website where user can find a single brand store near by. also all store is added through my website.

    • Kyla

My recommendation would be Super Store Finder which has a built-in geolocation feature that I think is exactly what you’re looking for.
