April 29, 2018

I usually do not post announcements on our premium theme releases, however, I will be taking a month or more off of premium theme development to focus on a new WPExplorer design and some whole new features, free themes..and more! So to hopefully get a bit more exposure I wanted to share with you my latest premium theme and all the great features (reasons) why you should buy it!

Some Beta Theme Features

Below are just a few features included in the Beta WordPress theme – there are of course many more, but I wanted to mention the top features (I say top features because from my experience they are the requested ones).

Responsive Design

The theme is fully responsive which means when you shrink your browser the layout will adapt to your new browser size. This method is used for creating sites that will render on mobile devices like iPhones and iPads so they are easier to navigate. Scan the QR code below to preview the theme on your mobile device.

Drag-&-Drop Homepage Modules

The homepage of the Beta theme consists of several different modules which allow you to easily choose what you want and don’t want to show on the homepage as well as re-order them. You can see a screenshot below. Underneath these options are also advanced settings so you can customize the homepage modules to suit your needs, such as selecting to show 5 columns for your portfolio items instead of 4 or selecting 2 widget columns instead of 3…etc.

Custom Backgrounds

There are built-in options to easily change your backgrounds for your various pages, post types, archives…etc. There are also individual page settings so you can select your custom background on a per page/post basis (see image below).

Custom Post Types

The theme includes custom post types for your sliders, homepage highlights, portfolio, staff, services and faqs. This will make it much easier to add and manage your custom content on your site. There are built-in template for each post type and many have options to choose your layout, such as 2,3,4,5,6 column options for the portfolio pages. I’ve also included options to easily change your post type names and slugs via the dashboard.

Nice theme! I like the color scheme and enjoy the new social icons that you implemented.

Question: I know that you use the contact form 7 plugin for most of your themes which is nice, but have you ever thought of working to implement better styling for Gravity forms, not even sure if that is a possibility?

    • AJ Clarke says:

What I include in my theme is actually styling for all input and button styles, so the styling should work for pretty much all forms – as long as these forms don’t override them.

So basically I add styling like this:

      input[type="text"], input[type="password"]{ MY CUSTOM STYLES }

      Thanks for stopping by,
      AJ

Cool theme! Keep up the great work.
AJ, most of your themes comes with a built-in contact form 7. How do I create a contact page with contactform 7?
