If you have spent some time in the blogosphere, than you have might have heard that
The Money is in the list.
Simply put, the phrase means – If you have a big email list, you can make hundreds of thousands of dollars in the long run. An email list is something that you shouldn’t avoid if you really want to make money from your website. Though building a large, quality mailing list takes a lot efforts and hard work.
In this post I am going to share 3 essential plugins that you can use to get more subscribers to your WordPress blog.
Pippity adds a beautiful opt-in form to your site and comes with 18+ stunning themes. Pippity is a bit different from other plugins, and doesn’t show the popup box until a user has finished reading a blog post.
I know a lot of you might hate popups, but if used correctly they can generate hundreds of new subscribers with. Whilst there are a number of nice popup plugins available, my pick is Pippity because of the awesome optin forms & analytical settings it has. And for just $49, it’s a worthwhile investment to aid in your list building efforts.Download Pippity
When it comes to building mailing list, one of the best things you can do is to add a nice looking opt-in form at the bottom of each blog post. Now you don’t need to hire a developer, because I have a plugin that does the job perfectly. It’s called OptinSkin.
OptinSkin simply adds a beautiful opt-in form at the bottom of every blog post. One can also integrate the plugin manually, as the plugin allows blog author to use a shortcode. The plugin allows you to easily create subscription forms based on designs that are effective at converting visitors.
The plugin not only adds a nice opt-in form, but also adds a great set of social media buttons making it easy for users to share your posts. The plugin is $67, but all of the extras like split-testing, the ability to create unique skins for each individual post, and performance reports all make this a great value for a useful plugin.Download OptinSkin
3. Welcome Gate App
Welcome Gate is one of the best and free list building plugins available in the market. This plugin is more effective and powerful than other similar plugins.
It’s an awesome plugin. Why? Because it simply redirects the first time visitors to a nice looking landing page without showing a popup. People are only redirected to a Welcome Gate when they go to your home page (i.e. if someone links to a specific blog post on your site — from twitter or their blog — your Welcome Gate won’t display).
A visitor will only see your Welcome Gate or that landing page once in their lifetime.
So… What do you use?
