Find A Post or Page ID In WordPress

A quick video guide showing you how to easily find a post or page ID in WordPress by WPExplorer. Knowing the ID of a page or a post is really useful if you want to create a loop the specifically includes or excludes posts/pages. Also in some themes/plugins there might be admin settings that ask you for a specific ID so if you don’t know how to find it then this video will be really helpful!

  1. Login to your WP dashboard
  2. Go to your posts or pages dashboard
  3. Hover over the title of any post or page
  4. Notice the target URL in the browser, the Post id is shown as post=”ID NUMBER”
