Welcome to the landmark tenth edition of WP Explorer’s Premium WordPress Plugins of the Month series! For anyone new here, every month I scour CodeCanyon looking for the best premium plugins it has to offer.
The format is the same as always: four plugins, four different functionalities. I always try to keep the list as versatile as possible, so there should be at least one plugin you find interesting! So without further ado, here are my favorite premium plugins from June.
Intense WordPress Site Builder
If you like all-in-one plugins with lots of functionality, you’ll love the Intense WordPress Site Builder plugin, available from CodeCanyon for $24.
Why is this plugin so good? Well, it’s all down to the sheer volume of features and functionality it supports. For a start, there are over 100 shortcodes, allowing you to effortlessly add powerful functionality and stylish design elements to your website — the kind that really impress clients and wow audiences! Here are some of my favorite shortcodes that the plugin supports alerts, buttons, charts, content tabs, counters, coupons, data tables, drop caps, Google docs, masonry gris, pricing tables, social buttons and more!
You can also add stylish CSS animations to almost any on-page elements, including images, text, and other shortcodes. There are a staggering 140+ animations to choose from in total, and they all look incredibly slick and stylish. The plugin also supports 16 custom post types, allowing you to create specialist websites in a variety of niches. The custom post types include books, clients, events, jobs, music, news, recipes, team members, and testimonials.
Perhaps the most useful custom post type, however, is snippets. By using snippets, you can create re-usable content blocks, which you can quickly and easily copy from one page to another. The snippets are easily modified, plus you can make site-wide changes to a content block by editing the master-snippet. All elements are fully responsive and are also compatible with the best-selling Visual Composer plugin.
Imager Image Tool for WordPress
Next up we have a relatively new plugin, Imager. As the name implies, this plugin is all about your WordPress images, and actually supports lots of cool functionalities.
For a start, Imager supports effective re-sizing and cropping, allowing you to display your images at their optimal sizes. If protecting your images is important to you, you can also configure Imager to automatically add a custom watermark to every image you upload.
My favorite thing about this plugin, however, is the image effects. The plugin supports 31 visually stunning CSS filters you can apply to your images, giving them an eye-catching and distinctive appearance. Some examples of the filter effects include:
- Blur – light, normal, and hard
- Sepia – 50%, 75%, and 100%
- More Contrast – 50% and 100%
- Hue Rotate – 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, 225°, 270°, and 315°
- And tons more options!
Looking to enhance your website’s branding? Then why not apply one of the more distinctive filters to the images across your entire website – my personal favorite is the hue rotate effect.
If the filters aren’t eye-catching enough for you, the plugin also supports 30 CSS animations that you can apply to your images. If that sounds good, the plugin is available from CodeCanyon for $22.
Rankie WordPress Rank Tracker Plugin
Now for something a little different: Rankie is a fantastic new rank tracking tool, built by developers ValvePress. So what can you do with Rankie? Well, its primary function is to keep track of your daily rankings in Google – you can also configure competitor rank tracking, too. To reflect the many different target markets, Rankie allows you to specify your local version of Google – for example, google.co.uk or google.de.
Rankie tracks an unlimited number of keywords for you, which can be added in bulk. The plugin will also do some of the work for you, by automatically tracking any keywords visitors have used to find you that aren’t on your list. Rankie will also compile your historic rankings into sophisticated ranking reports. Just specify the time period you want to track, and Rankie will provide details of the ups and downs of every keyword you’re tracking. You can also schedule an email breakdown of your ranking movements, sent to you at the end of each day.
The plugin also doubles up as a keyword research tool, allowing you to identify keyword opportunities from within the WordPress dashboard. Simply provide a base keyword, then let Rankie pull all of Google’s auto-suggestions relating to it. If you’ve had enough of manually tracking your website performance, Rankie is available from CodeCanyon for just $15.
PageLoader WordPress PreLoader with Content Slide-In
In the past, I’ve talked at length about the ways you can speed up your WordPress website. No website will load instantaneously, however, so visitors will have to grin and bear at least some loading time. Want to make their wait more bearable? Then check out the PageLoader WordPress Preloader plugin. The plugin displays a stylish, animated, custom loading screen while your website loads — and for the record, the plugin is tiny, so it won’t add to your site’s load time.
Every element of your loading screen can be customized, which allows you to build something that fits with the rest of your website. Just a few of the many customization options include:
- Choice of ten loading icons with three sizes, and three speeds
- Clockwise or counter-clockwise icon animation
- Infinite/unlimited background colors
- Custom loading screen text and color
- Limit loading screen display to homepage or only mobile
With a dedicated setting for mobile users, the plugin is fully responsive, as you’d expect. PageLoader is available for just $15 from CodeCanyon.
So there you have it: your four premium plugins for June. I hope I’ve introduced you to plugins you weren’t aware of, so that you can add some new and exciting functionality to your WordPress website. I’ll see you next month for four more premium plugins, supporting even more awesome functionality. Thanks for reading! With thousands of plugins available on CodeCanyon, it would be impossible to cover each one.
