MyCorp Free Business WordPress Theme

It’s been a while since I released my “ultra theme” and even though it does use custom post types and featured images it’s still a bit outdated and some of the code is a little sloppy since I was just learning to make WordPress themes. Together with the fact that there are very few good Free business WordPress themes out there for WordPress, I figured it was about time I released another one.

So, I present you with the “MyCorp WordPress Theme“. A totally Free (although donations are encouraged) GPL WordPress theme that is perfect for setting up your minimalistic business and/or portfolio website. I’ve designed the theme using custom post types and admin options for complete control over the homepage layout making it easier then ever to set up a great landing page for your company. The overall design is minimal with very little images which makes it perfect for customizing or for those who want something clean and elegant to showcase their work.

Setting Up MyCorp Theme

Setting up the corporation theme is super easy. First of all I am giving you an xml file with sample data, but also it uses custom post types and page templates for everything. No shortcodes or messing with any code, you can get your site looking like the demo in just minutes.

404 Error On Portfolio Items

If you are getting a 404 error on your portfolio items go into your permalink settings at Settings –> Permalinks and click the “save button”. Most the time this will fix any issues.

Adding Images

Adding images is extremely easy, but if you aren’t used to newer themes or are a WordPress beginner you may be unfamiliar with the new featured image function. So check out the following video on adding featured images to WordPress.
