Is Dangdoot Really Free?

When this theme was first released it was 100% free, now it appears that the free version does not include everything you need as mentioned by “joey” in the comments below. So you may want to consider checking out another theme or paying for the premium version.

Either way, if you want to set up an online store I highly recommend paying for a premium theme that will work much better right out of the box. Such as the WP Store WordPress Theme.

DangDoot Instructions

While this theme already comes with an instructions file, here are some of the main instructions to get your started.

1. Installing WP Shopping Cart Plugin

a. Download the plugin at instinct.co.nz

b. Upload to your wp-content/plugins folder in your wordpress install

c. Log into your WP admin panel and activate

2. Install the theme

a. Download the theme using the “download” button above

b. Upload to your wp-content/themes folder in your wp installation

c. Go to your admin panel, click on appearance, choose the theme and activate

3. Set up a Category

a. Once the theme is activated you have to create some categories

b. Go to the products tab in your admin panel and than click on “categories”

c. Now click the + Add new category and create the product categories you need

4. Create Featured Products

To create featured products simply make a category titled “featured” and than add the products you want to this category
