I wasn’t a huge fan of Studiopress in the past because I thought they lacked a bit in the design department, however, their latest theme “Fabric” is quite exceptional. The theme comes with a very clean layout and a woven textile design that is very unique and elegant.
The Fabric theme is actually a “Child” theme which means you need to buy the framework in order to use the theme. If you already have the Genesis framework it’s super cheap at $24.95 otherwise you will have to dish out $79.95 for the theme and the framework, which is actually not a bad deal. Genesis is very powerful and is a framework praised by many WordPress experts.
In general the Fabric theme is probably best used as a blog, however, with some customization I am sure you can easily transform the theme into a business site (using a custom page template for the homepage and some shortcodes) or a full-fledged E-Comerce store (using Cart66 or any other plugin).
